Community Building Events

A rich Community of Practice gathering all Project Partners and Associated Partners of the governance projects, as well as the Thematic Projects consortia, is at the core of the Natural Heritage Mission. This Community will evolve, get bigger, and lead to the establishment of the Mediterranean Resilience Network, a permanent body to ensure proper coordination of nature protection activities in the Mediterranean and its area of influence at the highest level of policy dialogues.

The Community of Practice meets at least twice a year. The so-far organised Community Building events are:

• “Making the Mediterranean Green Transition Happen by Protecting, Restoring and Valorising the Natural Environment and Heritage”, hybrid event, 9/06/2023
• Community Building exercise, during the Natural Heritage Mission’s Annual Institutional Dialogue Event in Slovenia, 23/11/2023

Up-skill activities

The Natural Heritage Mission will organize a series of online sessions to empower and upskill the Mission’s Thematic Projects’ partners transference capacities, especially in transversal fields, such as communication within the Mission’s strategy, results transferring, EU and MED trending topics and policies, etc.
