The associated partner of the Natural Heritage Mission, Natural Environment & Climate Change Agency (N.E.C.C.A.), participates in CEST 2023, the 18th International Conference on Environmental Science and Technology, held from the 30th of August to 2nd of September in Athens!
Prof. Maria Papadopoulou, president of the Board of Directors of NECCA and part of the National Technical University of Athens team (partner of the Natural Heritage Mission) will participate in the session “Sustainable Tourism in protected areas: Balancing Ecotourism and Conservation”. The panel discussion aims to delve into the intersection between tourism and natural environment conservation.
The panel discussion will take place on Thursday 31st August, at 12:00 (Athens local time). Prof. Papadopoulou will highlight activities planned by the Natural Heritage Mission to promote protection, restoration and valorization of the natural resources in the Mediterranean basin and beyond.
