Our Mediterranean ecosystems’ health is in danger. Time to restore it!
Only 15% of European habitats thrive in their natural glory, as they are facing the dramatic impacts of intense human activity and climate change. A first step for restoring the environment to its former condition will be achieved through the adoption of the EU Nature Restoration Law – a promise for a greener future.
The Natural Heritage Mission, always committed to its objective to protect and restore nature, plans to offer to practitioners from public administration, but also NGOs, consultants, etc., all the necessary knowledge and tools to efficiently implement ecosystem restoration.
The Natural Heritage Mission’s 1st Summer School organized between 18-20 June 2024 in Piran, Slovenia, is addressed to professionals from the Euro-MED area to deepen their knowledge about the law and its implementation.
3 full days of activities including lectures by experienced teachers, working labs on specific restoration scenarios, networking and a field visit on a restored wetland.
