The event gathered more than 140 people from local NGOs, public administrations, small cooperatives, foundations, and research centres, sharing over 30 experiences implementing conservation and restoration of natural heritage projects.

During the three days, participants shared successes and pitfalls for nature conservation, got inspired by initiatives from all over Catalonia and other parts of Spain, highlighted relevant opportunities, and strengthened the network’s community. The Congress considered multiple types of ecosystems and socioeconomic activities, ranging from initiatives focusing on fluvial restoration or coastal conservation to activities promoting rewilding, pastoralism, agroecology, or bioeconomy.
