CREAF (partner of the Interreg Euro-MED Community4Nature project) presented the Mission on Natural Heritage at the 4th UfM Working Group Meeting on Environment and Climate Change. The hybrid meeting, organized by the Union for the Mediterranean, took place in Sitges (Spain), on the 24th of May 2023.
Ms. Annelies Broekman from CREAF presented the objectives of the Mission and the next steps for the 2 upcoming years in response to Environmental and Climate actions. One of the Mission’s activities which were highlighted was the “SOLVE the CHALLENGE” yearly awareness campaign 2023 on coastal erosion. Ms. Broekman also explained the concrete benefits for the South-Mediterranean stakeholders by getting involved in the Mission’s current and future plans!
Mission for Natural Heritage is going to join forces with all relevant stakeholders to accelerate the Mediterranean’s transition to a green, circular and inclusive economy and to climate resilience.
